<p><a href="http://www.xavierrudd.com/">Xavier Rudd</a> in-studio @ OPB, 9-3-08. While in Portland for Music Fest Northwest, Xavier Rudd and percussionist Dave Tolley performed this acoustic set in OPB's studios. Rudd played both slide guitar and a custom-made guitar/sitar, the cellorangi, with Tolley playing <em>udu</em> and snare drums. Three of the songs in the set come from Rudd's new record, <em>Dark Shades of Blue</em>, which has a louder and &quot;thicker&quot; sound as Rudd puts it.
