Laura Veirs in-studio at OPB, 6-15-07

Recording engineer: Steven Kray

The very first in-studio recording we did featured then-recent Portland transplant Laura Veirs. Veirs and her band released her sixth album in 2007, Saltbreakers, in the process adding some new elements to her sonic palette on songs like the electronically textured "Don't Lose Yourself," and the exquisite and ghostly "To the Country."
