Animal Collective has released the first single, "Tomorrow's Supernatural," off their ninth album Centipede Hz. The album is the much anticipated follow up to 2009's acclaimed Merriweather Post Pavilion and is due out September 4. "Tomorrow's Supernatural" debuted on the band's new online radio program, Animal Collective Radio.

Animal Collective Radio streams a looped mixtape provided by one of the band members each week, along with some guest DJs. The band is encouraging fans to make their own radio shows and share them on the site (check out You Mix). At the end of August they'll randomly select five people who submitted a show and send them test pressings of the Centipede Hz vinyl. Cool, right?

Animal Collective will play the Crystal Ballroom on Sept 20th.
