Nine Types of Light: The Movie

We're still letting TV On the Radio's new Nine Types of Light seep in, full as it is with dense, meaty songs. But did you know there's a full-length video companion?

The band's Tunde Adibempe handled directorial duties for the mini-epic, which clocks in at just under 60 minutes. TVOTR asked friends and filmmakers to contribute to the endeavor, the result being a series of unique video visions, one for all 10 tracks on the album. There's singing, dancing, and a whole lot of New York-- not to mention fire, animation, drama and self-reflection. It's an interesting trip, to say the least, not to mention a unique way to take in the entire record if you haven't yet.

Sorry, umm, did he say larping???
