New Video: Unknown Mortal Orchestra's "So Good at Being in Trouble"

Christopher Mintz-Plasse has been in several films since his 2007 debut in Superbad, most notably as the villain Red Mist in Kick-Ass (and also notably to Portlanders as the voice of Alvin in LAIKA's ParaNorman). But in our collective consciousness, he's still the mononymous McLovin, and we can't even remember his Superbad character's real name.

Mintz-Plasse is in the new video for Portland's Unknown Mortal Orchestra, playing a guy looking for a missing girl, whom has discovers has been brainwashed into some sort of hippie harem cult. And even though age and weightlifting have the actor looking more like Jake Gyllenhaal than a gawky teenager, he still knows how to play awkward, ineffectual rage.

Check back soon for a stripped-down Unknown Mortal Orchestra in-studio session, which will include a version of "So Good at Being in Trouble". Their second album, appropriately titled II, was released today.
