When is news of potential news considered news? When the news in question involves possible new music from Tom Waits (obviously). According to a dispatch sent out by the legendary singer/sage's website, "There have been rumblings and rumors" about new music from Waits. It then goes on to call on people to visit the website next Tuesday, August 23rd and "Mr. Waits himself will set the record straight."

Credit to TwentyFourBit.com, who did a bit of sleuthing and discovered that Amazon currently lists a digital download single entitled "Bad As Me" as being available next Tuesday.
