John Wesley Harding (aka Wesley Stace), not to be confused with the Dylan song/album nor the gunslinger they were named for, had another reason for his Portland performance last week: he's been holed up and recording at Type Foundry with local musical intelligentsia. Via Long Winters frontman and famed Tweeter John Roderick (@johnroderick), the former northwesterner has been working on a new album with, among others, R.E.M.'s Peter Buck, Scott McCaughey and 4/5 of The Decemberists.
