In case you missed it earlier in the week, PDX Pop Now! lifted the curtain on their annual 2-disc comp, featuring 40 cuts from names known and not so known. Included in the mix? Unreleased Menomena! Blitzen Trapper! Talkdemonic! Dharma Bums! Y La Bamba! As well as glad to hear more of them acts like Death Songs, AgesandAges and Nucular Aminals, among others.
This is installment number six for the compilation (which means it's also six years running that your uncle's bar band has submitted something that was rejected, but I digress), which will be available around town beginning June 3rd and no doubt heard a whole lot right here even sooner. The release show happens that same night at Holocene, and features Deelay Ceelay, The Angry Orts, Tope and The Great Mundane.
