It's not a new song, but a stunning new video companion to Blitzen Trapper's macabre but eminently re-listenable "Black River Killer," taken from last year's Furr. Director Daniel Elkayam embraces the narrative of the updated murder ballad, and comes up with something at least as dark as the song (adding the creepy masked gallery for extra effect).
The band played a slightly up-tempo version of the song for our session with them recorded this past April.
Blitzen Trapper plays Pickathon later this month.
