In honor of Earth Day this past week, the good folks over at Pickathon.com, along with McMenamins, the Mark Spencer Hotel and of course opbmusic.org, are putting together a Grand Prize Giveaway package for the upcoming Avett Brothers shows on Friday, May 22 and Saturday, May 23. The contest itself is limited to ticket sales over the internet, but is good for either date. If you've already purchased your tickets online, no need to do anything further--you're already in and good to go. If you haven't yet bought tickets, buy them online via Ticketmaster or through the Crystal Ballroom's Web site before this Friday, May 1, and you'll be eligible to win one of the two Grand Prizes. What will you win you ask? Lots. And lots. Of greatness. 
Here's the rundown:
- One overnight stay at the Mark Spencer Hotel, located conveniently two blocks away from the Crystal Ballroom.
- One weekend pass to the Pickathon Music Festival at Pendarvis Farm (Happy Valley, OR) the weekend of July 31-August 2, 2009. Acts include Blitzen Trapper, Dr. Dog, Vetiver and tons more.
- A $30 McMenamins gift card that can be used at either Ringlers Pub just below the Crystal Ballroom or at Ringers Annex, across the street.
- Two tickets to Railroad Earth at the Crystall Ballroom on June 26, 2009.
- A gift bag of swag from opbmusic.org--including the new t-shirt fresh off the presses.
- A limited edition Avett Brothers Crystal Ballroom print signed by the designer Jeremy Okai Davis and the Avett Brothers themselves.
The two Grand Prizes are identical. The winner will be notified no later than Tuesday, May 5. If you've already purchased your tickets online, you're already included in the drawing.
