Darnielle Deconstructs "Democracy"

Mountain Goats braintrust John Darnielle stopped by our studios recently, waxing philosophical as only he can on everything from Christian Death to Christian Contemporary (including his love for the music of Amy Grant). We also asked for his take on the impending release of Guns n' Roses' Chinese Democracy, the mythic, oft-maligned, long-rumored album no less than fourteen years in the making that is finally out this week.

We'll hear the full fruits of Darnielle's visit in the coming weeks.
