Byrne/Eno 2008

David Byrne and Brian Eno, nearly thirty years on from their maiden voyage together on My Life in the Bush of Ghosts, released Everything That Happens Will Happen Today  this week via everythingthathappens.com. The good news is, you can experience all of it below! Here's that internet word-of-mouth you were speaking about, Mr. Byrne.

In case you missed it, a full(ish) rundown of the rest of the week's events can be found here.

Happy listening!

Haven't been able to listen or chime in much lately but I just tuned in and caught Issa Bagayogo. Wow, I like that stuff. More please.

Eno and Byrne is always good but I missed your show on them so I'll have to go back and listen to the archives. I've been haphazardly picking up some of DB's work over the last decade but am really excited to see more high profile stuff coming and re-collaborating (?) with Eno. It can only be good.

sorry for the double comments. But I've just had a great few hours listening to you. I heard a few things I haven't heard before and that I liked, including the old 97's. Great set. Thanks for making my long evening at work far more enjoyable than it might have been.

Hey gunky---

Couldn't agree more on the Byrne/Eno, although I'm a bit biased when it comes to all things David Byrne. You'll be hearing more of it here, no doubt.

The Old 97's are great! Their new one is sort of a return to the form of their hey-day, which, coincidentally, was about 1997 as far as I'm concerned (some great back catalog stuff). They're playing at Berbati's Pan on Sept. 3rd, oh by the way.....
