Charles Bradley & The Menahan Street Band will be headlining next Wednesday, December 5th at the Aladdin Theater, and we're giving away tickets to the show! Charles' story is a saga of heartbreak and hardship, which he transmits to his audience as soul music at it's purest. His first full-length album, No Time for Dreaming, was released in 2010 after decades of working as a chef and handyman, from New York to California and back again. Bradley's collaboration with the Menahan Street Band has been described as "a labor of love," an idiom that Bradley's songs and performances embody. Charles Bradley is also the feature of a new documentary entitled Charles Bradley: Soul of America. Combining footage of his home in  Brooklyn, NY along with interviews and performance clips, this documentary is an illustration of Bradley's turbulent life journey through to his eventual success as an artist and performer.
