Last time we saw hometown Portland heroes Blitzen Trapper, they were laying down cuts from American Goldwing in our studios and prepping for an extended U.S. tour with Dawes. Well, they're still out there, beaming their adventures back to homebase with the help of "touring video guru" (as the band calls him) Luke Norby. It's the touring life, cinéma vérité style: Gasp at shirtless hotel room adventures! Wonder at b-movie horror films starring John Ritter that the road renders nourishing entertainment! Weep for the band's plastic fork misadventures!

For the record, Blitzen Trapper are nice enough guys, but never let anyone tell you that they wouldn't hurt a fly. The footage speaks for itself.

TEXAS!

The Blitzen Trapper/Dawes Fall Tour rolls on through mid-November, and they'll be playing Oregon dates next month, too-- November 12th at the Crystal Ballroom, and November 13th at the McDonald Theater in Eugene.
